Tails
- Agnes and Daphne aka Ginny and Agnes: Not a day goes by we are not so very thankful you trusted us with these girls. And we love that Nancy worked her magic with her updates she sent to us and in the end the girls got to stick together
- Dickens, Sissy Moo and Pepsi: Our bed has been taken over by ISHAS rescues and we couldn't be happier. They bring us such joy and love. Thank you for making our family whole and for all you do!!!! The Minor Family
- Charlie “Beans” (and Taz)
- Sophie (aka Park): My late husband, Glen, and I adopted Sophie (aka Park) from you in February, 2018. Sophie passed over the Rainbow Bridge in November, 2019. Sophie was quiet, gentle and a Velcro dog who loved her people. - Marcia K
- Millie is loving life! She enjoys naps, belly rubs, playing ball, short walks, and being spoiled. We definitely got lucky with Millie as she is very calm, but playful. We still can't believe someone got rid of her! She has definitely found her furrever home!
- Gary aka Garpo: Gary has changed my life. When I met Gary I had just gone through a really tough breakup and was living alone for my first time ever. He helped me so much and has brought me so much joy. All he asks for is a soft place to nap, some tummy rubs, and to be around me. - Sandra F
- Butters: Butters is a perfect companion that cuddles with me day and night, but he still has lots of energy and enthusiasm for walks, as well as a ravenous appetite. There's so much life left in this little old guy! With the right environment and a bit of time to adjust he's been flourishing in his new home, and he couldn't have been a better match for me. - Peter T
- Cecelia: Cecelia may have been as soft and adorable as it gets, but she was also tough as nails and amazingly adaptable, with a sassy attitude that made sure she got her way. Living on my own for the first time was so much improved by having her company. She loved being the queen of her castle. I miss her every day, but I take comfort that she enjoyed many happy years with my family and me. - Peter T
- This is Peter Toth, Butters’ dad, just sending over an update and some pictures since I realized I’ve had him for just over a year now. Time flies! He’s fully enjoying his home and is much more relaxed these days. He used to snap up treats so quickly, but he's much gentler now which I hope means he's not worried he won't get fed. Unsurprisingly he's still a complete Velcro dog and continues to sit with me at all times. I even replaced my desk chair with a nice recliner so we could be more comfortable. He hasn't been a fan of the cold, but he has a nice sweater to keep him warm. Fall was his favorite season - so many good smells in the leaf piles. Butters has also figured out new ways to get me to do what he wants, as he now knows he can stand up and paw at my leg to make me pick him up, which he does whenever we go down to the basement so he doesn't have to go back up the stairs. He'll also do this on walks if he's tired, or if he overestimated his cold tolerance and wants a lift back home. He's still enjoying his walks and has lots of energy for them. We go out twice a day and he always wants to meet other dogs, but sometimes he changes his mind when he doesn't feel like he's in charge and gets grumpy. There are a good number of people that he likes to get attention from, though, and if anyone pets him once he remembers and demands more whenever he spots them. Butters is still very jealous and continues to view the other family dogs as competition. My sister and her boyfriend adopted a little 1-year-old black pomeranian named Pepper - he's the sweetest little guy who wants to be friends with everyone. Butters hated him instantly after seeing everyone giving him attention. Half of Christmas day when we were all at my parents' house was Pepper staring at Butters with a look that said "I'm coming over there to play with you and we're going to be friends", and Butters growling at him to tell him he wasn't interested. So I think he's going to have to be my only dog for as long as he's here. But for me, he's still absolutely perfect. I can never feel lonely with such a sweet and dedicated little guy to keep me company. The picture of him smiling right at the camera is from just a few days ago. 13 and going strong! It's been a great year with him around, and I'm hoping for many more!
- Mara and Perla are absolutely fabulous! They have made friends with their 2 brother and even Chloe the cat. Laying in the sun on the deck has filled most days with walks around the yard. We are all madly in Love
- These two have brought so much joy to our home!"
- Everyone who meets her is in awe of how amazing she is! She is absolutely perfect for our household and she is thriving! I can't thank ISHAS enough for everything you did for her, and continue to do for all of the other dogs who are just as special and deserving of love as our Bridget!
