He is 11-12 Yrs old (suspected) .. He came in with a HUGE tumor on his abdomen/chest..
Today our Vet did a complete examination on him.. Blood work was done and Rabies Vaccine given.. We will give him the rest of his Vaccinations in a few days.
THIS dog was originally named GIZMO.. We have renamed him RIZZO.. He likes his new name … 🙂… RIZZO came from a BAD background and the HUGE tumor on him should have been removed A LONG time ago.. but was NOT!! Now comes the problem….RIZZO could have had that soft tissue UN ATTACHED tumor removed without an issue..BUT for safety reasons… The Vet Opted to do an X-Ray.. THUD!!! There below his heart was another mass pushing on his Trachea.. THIS mass may rupture at any time Or NEVER.. But any surgery cannot be safely performed .. He CANNOT be intubated for surgery.. THAT would not be safe at all…
So, RIZZO has been placed on our ANGEL WATCH CARE.
At present time he is eating, drinking and he IS potty broke. HE is acting fine .. a little timid and he is sight & hearing impaired.. so you must approach him from behind and not full face on.. BUT HEY, he just got here… THIS is not good news for RIZZO … but NOW he gets to eat what he wants – do what he wants – and be who he is for however long he has on this earth.. SPOILED ROTTEN !!!
