This tiny guy sure needed help… One eye was bulging out and the other completely dry & crusty… NO tear production AT ALL. His blood work was not perfect but good enough that surgery could be performed.. He did very well under anesthesia so he was also Neutered.. Since his left eye was so bulgy a lot of loose skin had to be trimmed away.. THAT eye collected fluid underneath the incision and we had to ice it down to reduce the swelling… His eyes have greatly improved… As soon as we can safely take his cone of shame off we will begin to show him how to navigate.. We ( and the Vet ) feel he had no vision before the surgery, just pain.. No more pain.. just that cone which confuses him when he touches things with it on. DANIEL will learn how to get around and not bump into things.. I am hoping to get him a MUFFIN’S HALO to wear to warn him of objects around him… Through all of this…DANIEL is potty broke and is now allowing us to touch his face…(it was too painful & sore previous to surgery)… PRAY for little DANIEL – he now sees WITH his heart. DANIEL is 12 Yrs old.. But he does not act that old. He wants to LIVE AND LOVE life again.. PAIN FREE.
YES! His surgery was expensive and YES we need donations for his surgery …. PLEASE HELP LITTLE 7 Lb DANIEL..Won’t you please ? He was worth every penny.. Every Dang Penny..
