JAKE is a 12 year old Chihuahua mix. He weighs 14 Lbs. (he is currently on a weight loss diet…) We feel JAKE had just a little bit too much people food in his former home. JAKE had a very large lump in his groin area and it was recently surgically removed and THANK GAWD it was only a fatty tumor.. BENIGN… That lump is all gone now & JAKE is healing up very well. JAKE is VERY loving and he LOVES to be held and petted..But most of all JAKE loves to be with his brother ELWOOD.. They were so happy to see each other after JAKE had to stay away while he healed.. But they are together again and life is good.
ELWOOD is also a 12 year old Chihuahua mix and he weighs 11 Lbs he is also VERY sweet & loving.. He does have a tiny hernia on his chest that does NOT require surgery.. ELWOOD also has a grade 5/6 heart murmur and now takes 2 heart medications a day.. He is doing just GREAT on his meds and diet THEY BOTH have sparkling white & clean teeth …and now the only thing this Senior pair of brothers REALLY NEED … is a HOME of their own. They BOTH walk well on leash.. The downside ? YES there are TWO of them .. so you HAVE to love BOTH.. We will NOT separate them… The only sad part is they are not totally Potty Broke YET ! They do use Pee Pads and we rigged up a cat tower lined with pee pads to heist on.. THAT is working very well as we keep working on taking them OUTSIDE to go potty… This weather has not been kind to us for that.. But we try and so do they ! If you need TWO best friends JAKE AND ELWOOD are the ones for you.. They are loving & ADORABLE handsome senior guys! Better get your application in on these TWO !
