Little Senior girl SQUEAK came from a Dog Pound.. She is a Rat Terrier. She is 12 years old and weighs 8 Lbs. .. At the pound she was diagnosed with a heart Murmur so they would not take the chance of spaying her. She also has mammary tumors. The day before she was to be transported to ISHAS she broke out with an upper respiratory infection. 🙁 She is here and quarantined until this is resolved .. She is on Doxycycline for the URI AND Gabapentin for back arthritis. She is a fragile older gal.. She is very sweet and wants attention..She will be going to our Vet. as soon as her cough subsides.. She is up to date on Vaccinations but MAY need to be spayed and mammary tumors removed if it can be safely Surgically done.. Once seen by our Vet that all will be determined. She was very vocal when she arrived, but has settled down and is LOVING her comfy quiet room.. She is potty pad broke.. She sees well.. her hearing is declining a little.. She is underweight but eating very well..
THANK YOU Uncle Matt for transporting her to us..We are going to take very good care of her and get her medically evaluated for the best course of treatment.. She does have some skin issues on her back and is getting medicated baths. She just needs a little help.. She does LOVE to burrow under blankets…
