POTATO sez “I am NOT stupid” I hear the phone calls come into the Sanctuary of families wanting a small dog all for themselves. WHY NOT PICK ME?
My name is POTATO (TATO) I am cute – I only weigh 7 lbs. I was rescued from a Dog Pound and brought here because the pound said I was snappy.. Well heck ya – I WAS, because it was way to noisy for a little Chihuahua guy like me and no one wanted to get to know me.. ALL I wanted was to feel better and be cared for and LOVED. NOW, I WANT a HOME of my very own. YES, I am 11 years old and YES, I have a heart murmur – but I take my heart pills like a good boy… I also have a little limp – but with a mild pain medication I am fine – it’s just a bit of arthritis … I bet some of our seniors have the very same thing as me. HOW ABOUT GIVING ME A CHANCE?
All you have to do is take the time to let me get to know you and I will be in your lap in no time at all. I am up to date on all my vaccinations – I am neutered and once in awhile I make a boo boo with peeing.. not often though.. I am a senior ya know! bet people have the same problems once in awhile right? I LOVE to show off and walk like a gentleman on my leash and slower walks are the best for me BUT I do like to gallop in the yard in short bursts of energy. I have beautiful soulful eyes and the ISHAS crew say I DESERVE a HOME of my OWN.. how about submitting an application for ME and coming to meet ME ?? I WILL be waiting right here – it won’t take me long to pack up my medical records and allll my toys .
